Setting up a the EIB/KNX gateway
The EIB/KNX gateway transmits the data packets between the building's bus and ethernet. From there, you can access them using WiFi or using a VPN to your network using EDGE/3G.
iKNX needs the IP address or DNS name of the EIB/KNX gateway. You can find this address in the ETS software. If your iPhone is on the same local network as your gateway, OR KNX will find it with a broadcast scan.
