This kind of pisses me off (and I let the Insteon developers contact know). Insteon is about to release the Netlinc ($120 US) in September but I have an email that says I can pre-order it. But just two days ago I was denied being a beta tester for it! Worse yet as a developer I can't get any information so I can develop for it.

Right now it has an odd comment that the 'NetLinc’s current server applications do not support X10.'. I'm guessing that they don't have the X10 enabled on this product.

Should I speak (email) the development manager and try to find out what's going on? Like I said, dirty laundry.

Interesting device, but it seems pricey at twice the price of a PLM. I'll be interested to see how good the software and software development kit is compared to the PLM.

It is typical that anything with an Ethernet is more expensive but I agree completely on the issue of software. Insteon is really bad with the software. The interface to the PLCs is notorious.
